Senior Research Scientist

About the Role

We're building an AI-powered learning product for standardized exam preparation and language learning. This is a research-and-build role: you'll help define the core learning intelligence, develop models and evaluation methods, and work closely with engineering to ship improvements into a product used by real learners.

What You'll Do

• Develop learning and personalization intelligence for exam preparation and language mastery.
• Design and evaluate systems that help learners understand concepts, practice efficiently, and retain knowledge.
• Build model- and system-level evaluation: offline metrics, user outcomes, and iteration loops.
• Partner with product/engineering to turn research ideas into reliable, scalable features.
• Own experiments end-to-end: data, training, evaluation, deployment considerations, and monitoring.

Required Skills

• Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Strong ML research background with a track record of shipping or rigorously validating ideas.
• Hands-on experience with modern deep learning (e.g., LLMs / multimodal / generative models) and training at scale.
• Excellent software skills in Python; comfortable reading/writing production-quality code.
• Solid experimental discipline: ablations, baselines, and clear measurement of improvements.
• Comfort working across ambiguity in an early-stage environment.
